Title: Sr .Net Full Stack Developer with AWS Experience Location: Des Moines, Iowa Duration : 12+ Months *Job Description* Interview: Skype/Face to face required(*client will pay expenses*) *Candidate must have strong communication skills* Candidate must have 3+ years of experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) or they will not be considered Required Experience: • Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to implement robust and effective software solutions • Experience and skills in multiple facets of software engineering • Knowledge and demonstrated experience of infrastructure and deployment automation through scripting to build a continuous delivery pipeline • Experience with a mix of the following technologies is required: o Minimum of 7 years of experience with C# .Net o PostgreSQL, MySQL, or another RDBMS o Python & Bash Scripting o ASP.NET Web API 2 o HTML5 o JavaScript o *AngularJS* o JavaScript support libraries o RESTful Web Services • Automated testing, TDD, E2E, integration testing strategies • Experience creating SQL and DB objects on large, complex relational databases • Ability to learn quickly and an interest in using distributed computing to solve complex problems are highly desired Preferred Experience: • Source Code Repositories: TFS, SVN, GitLab • Applied GIS Experience (ESRI, Bing map, Leaflet) • Cloud computing including Amazon Web Services or Windows Azure • GIS data processing preferably using PostGIS and/or GDAL • Experience with Jenkins build servers • Experience working with Visual Studio Database projects • Experience with Agile / Scrum Methodologies • Performance tuning with SQL Server DMVs • Background or interest in biology or agriculture Job Duties/Responsibilities: • Work with project manager, Scrum team, and other team members to design and develop software applications, data structures, and processes to meet the designated needs. • Follow and improve established processes for software development life cycle with an agile approach to delivery software. • Mentor and lead other developers in best practices for designing, coding, and testing software. Work with software architects to ensure solutions are consistent with company standards and guidelines.
