*Location*: York, PA *GENERAL SUMMARY* Sr. SAP BI Consultant to join a consulting team providing support for a current customer in the York, PA area. The selected candidate will provide Production Support and should have experience with the following activities: design, develop, configure, test and maintain SAP BI software solutions based on customer requirements, using development standards and development lifecycle process. Daily tasks may include requirements analysis of production break / fix requrests, design, planning, programming, testing, documentation, error/exception handling, and performance improvements. This individual will be instrumental in growing the BI environment to serve the needs of customer. *TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* · Provide production support through Interaction with business users to gather requirements, prioritize work, develop enhancements to the existing system, coordinate testing, and perform change management/training for BW/BI reporting and applications · Design data structures to optimize data load times and end-user data access response times · Design processes to minimize data quality risks and proactively identify potential data issues · Build and / or Enhance BI/BW objects such as InfoObjects, Transformations, DTPs, InfoProviders (DSOs, InfoCubes, and MultiProviders), and Process Chains. · Monitor BI loads, communicate and troubleshoot issues with data integrity, data design, and functional and technical software issues · Perform routine program modifications, performance tuning, problem solving, debugging, and unit testing · Support and troubleshoot production systems as required, optimizing performance, and resolving production problems for Business objects landscape · Perform system modifications, performance tuning, problem solving, debugging, and unit testing Business objects landscape · Maintain BW structures and support for ETL processes for data feeding in and out of BW · Prepare related documentation (functional design, technical design, test scripts) during the different stages of the support engagement. · Experience with Building Business Objects reports using Analysis Edition for MS (Analysis/MS), Analysis Edition for OLAP (Analysis/OLAP) and Web Intelligence (WebI) · Adhere to BW/BI best practices and standards to maintain stable Business Information environment · Additional responsibilities per management · Complies with all local, state, federal, and customer regulations, policies, and procedures QUALIFICATIONS · BA/BS Degree (Major: computer science, information systems, mathematics or related field) · A minimum of 5 years of experience in: SAP BI/BW, BOBJ and SAP Report Development. · A minimum of 5 years of Configuration of BW data objects: InfoObjects, Transformations, DTPs, InfoProviders (DSOs, InfoCubes, and MultiProviders), and Process Chains. · Knowledge of ECC extractors in the SAP FI / CO and Logistics (MM, PP, SD) areas. · Experience reconciling ECC and BW data. · Knowledge of SAP query development · Experience with dashboards development using SAP BusinessObjects Design Studio. · Demonstrated analytical skills with a solid understanding of BI / BW development · Excellent time management skills with leadership potential.
