*Duration: 3+months* *Location: **Merrimack, NH (Preferred Nearby to NH, MA, VT, ME)* *Rate: DOE* *Phone Screen then Face to Face (mandatory)* *MUST HAVE **Clearing and Settlement experience* * * * * *Summary* The *QA Engineer* will support and participate in the daily testing and quality assurance activities for clearing and settlements in a mainframe environment. This role involves acquiring domain knowledge in the money movement and trade processing systems area and building relationships with our business and development partners. This is a hands on test engineer position where in the candidate will be interacting on a daily basis with the development partners located in Boston, Merrimack, India, North Carolina and New Jersey/New York. The candidate will be responsible for reading business documents (BRD, SRD, SDS etc), creating test cases, writing test plans, execution of test cases and defect entry on a project need basis. The ideal candidate have solid experience with financial money movement and clearing and settlements. The candidate must be extremely proficient in QA process and SDLC lifecycle in a Mainframe Environment. *Responsibilities* Review of business and systems requirements, system delivery specifications and technical system design documentation. Ensuring that test plans and test cases are defined, documented, executed and tracked to ensure new applications and enhancements to existing applications satisfy business requirements Ensuring proper traceability between test cases and requirement documentation Tracking test execution to planned test schedule to ensure timely delivery of testing deliverables Ensuring that software problem reports are documented, maintained and monitored Ensuring the design and execution of both automated and manual test scripts Interacting with both business and systems personnel to assure functional and operational needs of the business are met Interacting with offshore personnel to ensure daily test activities and deliverables are met Ensuring close adherence to the systems development lifecycle processes and associated documentation Continuous oversight of QA test environment to ensure environment is in proper order to support testing activities *Qualifications* QA experience testing in Mainframe environment is required COBOL programming experience is a huge plus Knowledge of QA practices and phases - Software Development Lifecycle. *Business Knowledge in these areas Clearing and Settlement* Usage of test tools - ClearQuest, Quality Center etc Mainframe knowledge extremely desirable - batch jobs, datasets, file handling etc. Best Regards, Syed AR-SYSTEMS Inc., Phone: 732-593-8046 Ext: 105, Alt No - 732-476-6195 E-mail : s...@ar-sys.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "REQSRESUMES" group.
