*Position: Scrum Master* *Location: Basking Ridge, NJ/Minneapolis, MN* *Duration: 12+Months* *Job Description:* - Create, maintain, and organize backlog of features, epics, stories, and tasks in JIRA. - Support monthly release cycle and release candidates in JIRA. - Advocate for the Agile and Scrum methodology. - Work across multiple distributed teams. Projects typically cross platforms, applications, and/or business lines. Understands how and when to escalate issues to higher levels. Analyzes the risks and future impact of decisions. As needed, makes decisions and takes timely, independent action in pursuit of priorities. - Projects may be adding significant new functionality to existing system(s) or ground up development. - Create sprint plans, prepare for and facilitate various sprint ceremonies. - Utilize a variety of Project Management concepts, principles, practices, procedures, and theories. - Thorough understanding of and experience with project management phases, techniques and tools. - Thorough understanding and experience with common SDLCs. - Strong and proven project management skills, including sponsor and risk management. - Travel required: estimated to be 10-25% on an annualized basis (travel will be a factor of where the employee is located relative to the sites of company and the corporate operating companies engaged in a particular systems initiatives). *Minimum Qualifications (Education/Experience/Certification/Skills):* - Minimum 4 years of increasingly responsible technology project management experience. Prefer an understanding of software development and the insurance industry, its community and its technology requirements. PMP and/or CSM certifications a plus. Knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter a plus. - Must have demonstrated the capability of meeting the key accountabilities, or have the ability to learn/perform them - Software Development Life Cycle experience; Agile Scrum preferred - Must be able to manage developers and business analysts - Knowledge of project management and artifact tools (Atlassian stack preferred) - Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in related field or equivalent experience - Ability to thrive and produce results with little or no supervision in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment - Excellent communication skills with ability to interact seamlessly at all levels with both technical and business stakeholders - Strong customer service focus and sense of urgency - Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies and systems -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "REQSRESUMES" group.
