*Title :Applications Programmer / Analyst Location : Dearborn, MI Duration : 6 months (plus possible extensions) Rate : $35/hr* *JOB DESCRIPTION:* § Applications Programmer Analyst needed to support a client in Dearborn, MI. § Develop and Support and custom Inventory Tracking System § Develop and Support and custom Order management System § Responsible for translating high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications and managing requests for changes to the systems specifications § Assist the business in determining which business requirements can and should be automated and how they are then integrated with other business and technical processes § Research development in assigned technology, help determine business requirements, propose changes, develop migration and implementation plans, and may execute projects based on these activities § Communicates design, functional, and technical specifications to development team. § Provides solution planning and estimating of programs and projects § Completes tasks, reporting status and work assignments in a timely fashion § Involved with other team activities supporting the business and outside inventory system § Work on requests, support, providing 24x7 support, and interfacing with customers § They will work closely with the customer to use IT for improving business decisions, identify process improvements and cost savings opportunities § A minimum of 5 years experience In Application development or equivalent experience is preferred. § This position will work within a team of application developers supporting an outside inventory management system, month end processes and some aspects of the financial community. § 3 years of experience as Business Analyst is desired along with strong interpersonal skills and outstanding problem-solving skills § 5 years of PL/SQL programming and database design on Oracle 8i, 9i, or 10g environments § 2 years of systems analysis, programming or other IT experience § 2 years of experience with software development lifecycle § 1 year of experience with Inventory Tracking or Order Management systems and processes § Experience with building and supporting Web Applications using Sybase EAStudio § Experience with building and supporting PowerBuilder applications § Experience with deploying applications to a Windows XP environment *Regards,* *Savanth Sunder* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "REQSRESUMES" group.
