*Systems Engineer– Genworth*



The System Engineer should be capable of a positive influence with 6+ years
of experience working in an enterprise IT environment of 4000 users or
more.  Skillset should include managing and working with Active Directory,
DNS, Exchange, Office 365 (Exchange, EOP, and SharePoint), IIS, and Office
applications (especially Outlook and supporting end users with the
product).  Strong analytical reasoning and troubleshooting skills are
required while working and supporting a team environment.



*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:*

   - Management and production support of global Active Directory systems,
   Identity Integration platforms and Exchange Email environment. Maintains
   these environments by identifying system requirements; installing upgrades;
   monitoring system performance.
   - Design, build, configure, and support Active Directory, Microsoft
   Identity Integration Server, Windows Server 2008/2012, Microsoft Exchange
   2010, Office 365 Exchange, EOP, SharePoint, and ActiveSync environments.
   - Leverage tools such as Microsoft SCOM and WSUS in addition to GFI
   LanGuard to insure systems remain available, patched, and meet company
   standards.
   - Serve as the subject matter expert on supported systems for evaluation
   of other IT / Business initiatives.
   - Manages system performance at acceptable levels by performing system
   monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning with application vendors.
   - Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery methodology and
   documentation to meet legal and business continuity requirements.
   - Develop and support custom scripts and applications to accomplish
   various systems administration tasks.
   - Ensure system and application software versions and security patches
   are kept current on supported platforms.
   - Ensure systems compliance with various security initiatives.
   - Work with outsourced service provider on day-to-day and operational
   aspects of supporting the environment. Conduct training and handle
   escalations when necessary.
   - Participate in incident response as needed.
   - Work with acquisitions and divestitures; maintaining/migrating users
   groups and process to/from other domains.



*BASIC QUALIFICATIONS*

   - Strong team oriented and customer focused skills including but not
   limited excellent verbal communication and writing skills (email, IM).
   - 6+ year’s professional experience in Information Technology field.
   - 3+ year’s experience leading large, complex projects in an enterprise
   environment.
   - 6+ years of enterprise experience with Microsoft Exchange, Active
   Directory, DNS, and Windows Servers.
   - Ability to analyze and troubleshoot servers and applications in a
   complex enterprise environment.
   - Demonstrated advanced knowledge of networking protocols and services
   (TCP/IP, DHCP, WINS, DNS, SMTP, SNTP)
   - Able to lead, work with and effectively communicate with other
   technical team members and business personnel.
   - Ability to meet commitments under tight timelines, while working on
   multiple projects.
   - Strong writing skills in order to document processes and systems
   design.
   - Proactive attitude and approach to service delivery.
   - Self motivated, flexible, positive thinking, and highly resourceful.



*PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*

   - Experience with Dell ‘AD Migration’ tool a plus.
   - Experience with complex AD/Exchange migrations with one or more
   domains a plus.
   - Prefer Bachelors degree and/or equivalent experience and/or applicable
   certifications such as MCSE and CISSP.
