*Job Description *
- 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Management with 2+ experience
as VMware system Engineer on System Integration Projects
- Hands on experience in Data Centre Migration, Data Centre
Transformation, Data Centre Build projects
- Develop implementation plan for V2V and P2V migrations on basis of IT
strategies and business requirements
- Ability to deliver complex projects using below technology like,
- Server migration projects using various migration tools like VMware
Converter, Microsoft Virtual machine converter, Platespin Migrate, etc.
- Storage migration using Storage vmotion
- System migration using Server vmotion
- Strong technical knowledge and hands on experience on virtualization
technologies like
- VMware Infrastructure 5.x/6.x, VMware SRM, VMware Licensing
- Strong technical knowledge and hands on experience on Microsoft
technologies like
- Windows 2008/2008R2/2012/2012R2 and Licensing
- RHEL Linux 5.x/6.x/7.x
- Failover Clustering Services
- Technical knowledge on Server technologies like Cisco, DELL Blade
server technologies, Virtual Connect technologies, etc.
- Hands on experience with cross domain technologies like Storage,
Network, Security, etc.
