*These are the requirements currently open* Unissant is looking for a mid/Sr.Business Data Analysts for a contract positions at McLean, VA. Number of Opening: 15 Contract duration: 6 to 12 months 1. Sr.Business Data Analysts · 8 to 10 + years experience defining business data terms and related requirements, data quality rules, metadata, and information flows at conceptual, logical, and physical levels · 8 to 10 + years defining data governance processes, operating models, and adoption approaches across business and IT stakeholder groups · In-depth, hands-on knowledge of complex data analysis, data modeling, and data definition techniques and standards · Knowledge of secondary-mortgage market data or highly similar data · Proven ability to achieve consensus on modeling structure, naming standards, and common definitions · Familiarity with Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) project methodologies and how data governance can fit into those methodologies · Strong understanding of business process design / redesign · Proven ability to work in a dynamic business environment and manage multiple tasks · Excellent customer service skills and written and verbal communication skill · College Degree or equivalent experience; · Advanced experience with data analysis tools such as MS Excel, MS Query, MS Access, SQL, and/or SAS Preferred Skills: · Experience with ER Studio, ERwin or similar data modeling tools · Knowledge of XML Schema Definition Language 2.
