We have below req from our client, please let me know if you have any suitable candidates. *** LOCALS to the Chicago region preferred* * * *Title: DataStage Developer* *Duration: 6+ months* *Location: Warrenville, IL* *Rate: Open/DoE (around 45/50)* *Mandatory Skills* 5-7 yrs DataStage 7.1 and higher (server and parallel versions) DataStage v8.1 Enterprise Edition with Teradata and Oracle database experience UNIX (AIX, HP-UX) and shell scripting skills Ability to work independently to flesh out ambiguous technical specifications if necessary. Ability to concurrently work on multiple projects of varying size and complexity, possibly using different DataStage versions against different databases *Secondary Skills* DataStage v7.1 Server Edition with Oracle and Informix database experience desired Experience with Control-M scheduling tool *Duties* This individual is proficient in analyzing operational business systems and developing Data Acquisition releases. This position requires expertise in Data Warehouse architectures and Data Warehouse ETL tools & technologies, which are utilized to integrate disparate data sources and populate very large Multi-Dimensional data structures. This individual must be able to conduct discussions with diverse IT and business functional audiences. The individual is able to function independently with minimal oversight/direction and is also capable of authoring quality documentation of deliverables. This position reports directly to higher-level team member(s).
