Position : Business Systems Analyst with **Business Intelligence Exp Location: Detroit,MI Duration: 6-12+ Months Contract Primary Responsibilities include: Works with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for new enterprise reporting solutions Work with development and quality assurance team members through the entire lifecycle to deliver reporting solutions for business customers. Perform data analysis in support of ad-hoc and standing customer requests. Use and support database applications and analytical tools: evaluate data quality, applications, and functions, produce output, maintain operation Participate in agile/scrum team review sessions (e.g., Iteration Kickoff/Retrospectives, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Release Readiness, etc.) Provide a high level of customer service. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment Strong analytical problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and follow up Demonstrated experience and expertise with SQL programming language required. Experience working with a variety of data bases including SQL Server and Oracle is required Demonstrated experience using advanced Excel features and techniques required. Demonstrated experience in analysis and presentation of data required. Experience working with a variety of information systems and data files, including large and complex files Analyzing file structures, using and creating file layouts, transforming raw data into finished products. Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all levels of management. Requirements: Minimum of five years of experience with systems analysis, requirement definition and the software development lifecycle. Minimum of five years of experience with business intelligence and report design.
