Position Title: QA Analyst
*Client: John Wiley /TCS*
Location: Somerset, NJ
Salary: $90K-$100K
*Here is the Job Description: *
Should be minimum 8-10 Years of testing experience
· Must be proficient in test planning, effort estimation, deriving the test
approach for the releases. Experience test automation(Selenium , RFT) is
added advantage.
· Leadership responsibilities and influence the direction of the test
planning, automation effort, and its schedule and prioritization.
· Reviewing product requirements, functional and design specifications to
determine and prepare automated test cases.
· Experience with Web Services testing and Web Based Application and
database testing
· Extensive experience with building automation test frameworks besides the
ability to write automation code using functional test tools
· Proficient with multiple test case management tools (HP, Jira Plugins)
· Proficient with requirements and defect management test tools (JIRA)
· Good to have with testing HTTP web services (SOAP, REST) using automation
tools like SOAPUI
· Good knowledge in SQL. Ability to write SQL queries to
extract/transform/load/verify test data..
· Ability to work in a Unix/Linux environment
· Proven delivery experience in an Agile development and testing
environment
· Understanding of the role of gate keeper of the QA environment and
fulfilling this role
· Track new revisions, builds, and components deployments to QA
environments
· Excellent Oral and Written communication skills
· Must have exposure in Continuous Integration (Jenkin)
· Experience in application and regression test bed profiling
· Custom framework definition and design as per the requirement
