Position : *ALM/TFS Administrator* Location : Miami, FL Duration : 6 months to 12 Months contract *Job Description* looking for an Application Lifecycle / Team foundation server administrator. The consultant will work exclusively with the Microsoft ALM offerings – Team Foundation Server. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who exudes passion and technical competence. A portfolio of successful technical service delivery in complex and challenging environments using Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server is a must requirement for this role. *Key Responsibilities:*Design and implement a hands free build test and deployment automation process Develop and maintain automation scripts and metrics for functional regression, integration and load test. Manage release readiness checklist Perform automation test activities Assist with the adoption of Microsoft ALM and Team Foundation Server working across application groups Source Control check in policies - check in, check out and shelving Ensuring proper labeling and branching strategies are enforced Ensuring SDLC process policies are enforced within TFS *Qualifications, Skills & Education:* BA/BS Degree preferred or equivalent work experience 2+ years’ experience in a similar role 2+ years using Team Foundation Server, Jenkins and Git. Solid background in Agile SDLC management Source Code Management administration experience Building and deploying power shelf scripts for automated deployments Hands on experience with continuous integrations tools such as Jenkings/Hudsons In-depth understanding of the principles and best practices of Software Configuration Management Experience working with rapid, overlapping product release cycles and shifting priorities Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends in support of deployments Automation focused Hands on experience with version control system such as Team foundation server, Subversion and Git.
