With general guidance and coaching, performs technical design and development of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains those applications. Ensures SDLC methodology is followed, conducts inspections and post implementation reviews. Competent to work at a high technical level for the entire application development life-cycle. Partners with business personnel to conduct analysis of organizational needs. Acts as a primary liaison with the user area for development and modifications to existing applications. Significant creativity is required. Minimum 3-5 years related experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. J2EE 1.4/1.5, JSP, Struts (in depth knowledge),Spring(good understanding), XML, SAML 1.1, EJB, JMS Web Services Sun Certified Java Developer (Added Plus) Managing multiple projects simultaneously Hands on experience in developing application using WSAD and IRAD Knowledge of RUP methodology Knowledge of RAD 7.5 and deploying applications to WAS 7 server Experience in working with Java Security, WS Security, Single Sign-on Experience in working with LDAP, Identity Management, Sun Access Manager Experience in implementing large scale portal implementation with single sign on capability. Strong Design Patterns working knowledge Experience is developing and deploying J2EE applications on WebSphere platform. Good understanding of the EDI transaction related to Health care industry Strong Communication skills. Works well in a fast paced project environment. Hands on experience in HTML, DHTML, AJAX JavaScript Strong Database Skills (Oracle) Real time hands on experience on Production support activities. Experience in addressing production issues as per SLA requirements. Debugging, Problem identifying and quick Problem resolution skills. Release management, Ant scripts and Deployment experience.
