**Job title: Business Analyst Location: Downtown Dallas Duration: 6+ Months Contract ( Need Local To TX ) ( Max rate is $42/hr ) Job Description: This position is for a functional analyst on an Agile/Scrum project team in the Crew area of the Technology organization. The duties will include working with business customers and leaders in the flight Attendant and Pilot scheduling groups to drive out requirements for upcoming changes to the Crew Scheduling systems. This person will be responsible for documenting these requirements as user stories in Rally, our Agile project management tool. In addition to the user stories in Rally this person will be expected to create any appropriate process flows, narrative documents, or presentations using the standard Microsoft Office tools including Visio, Word, and PowerPoint. This person will be expected to work closely with the Product Owners and Delivery Teams to help prioritize user stories into releases. They will also be expected to participate and possibly facilitate poker planning sessions with the Delivery Teams to estimate the size of stories. As part of working with the business groups this person will be expected to be able to facilitate user story writing sessions with up to 10-15 business customers. The Crew Scheduling business process is a very complex functional area within the organization. Prior functional experience with Airline Crewing systems or previous airline operational experience is highly recommended. Technical experience with both Web and Rich client Java applications is also recommended. Experience with Oracle databases, and object oriented design is also recommended.
