The primary function of this particular developer consists of planning, designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring and documenting cognos framework manager & associated reports. This includes support of the following: Application, User Interface, Training, Report/Dashboard development. *Specific Responsibilities* · Gather requirements for Ad hoc projects as well as take requirements for projects and design, develop, implement, and support the Cognos Framework. · Develop meaningful reports and Dashboard for any business needs. · Investigate data issues uncovered during the use of Cognos. · Support users on the use of all projects deployed in the Cognos environment. · Provide system support for the Cognos environment. · Training in a group setting as well as one on one for any Cognos topics. *Overall Responsibilities* · Work with cross-functional team members to develop and design technical solutions for business and/or system issues. · Make technical recommendations for more efficient troubleshooting and issue resolution. · Applies generally accepted programming standards and techniques to ensure efficient program logic, data manipulation, and information presentation. · Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other associates. · Adhere and enforce client's BI Software Development Methodology (SDM) · Perform application support functions including on-call support, as required Thanks & Regards Shilpa IT Recruiter.
