*Title :Data services architect* *Location:Boston,MA* *Duration:6 Months* *Project scope:* Assist the Data Group with the architecture design and implementation of a Data Services layer that enable the encapsulation and abstraction of master data entities via a Data Virtualization layer. Applications will interact with these Data Services via flexible delivery patterns aligned with canonical data models and provide comprehensive security, data governance, performance and continuous availability. *Experience Profile for Data Services Architect:* Design and implementation of architectures that encapsulate master data entities. Experience with Data Virtualization technologies such as Cisco Data Virtualization, Red Hat Data Virtualization, Denodo, SQL Gateways etc. Built complex reusable Data Services that perform CRUD (Create, Read, Update and Delete) transactions including XA designs. Design patterns that align with Metadata repositories and logical business entities. Multi-version, aggregation and filtering data service design. Data Exchange patterns such as Fire/Forget and Publish/Subscribe etc. Data Federation Services resolving semantic conflicts via mappings and transformation. Integration with MDM hubs for single access to customer authoritative data i.e. Semarchy and/or Informatica. Bus architecture based on standardized communication protocols such as Web services or REST. Knowledge of Web Services Interoperability, WS-* standards Extensive experience with J2EE and Web Services. In depth experience using Agile, Scrum and iterative development practices Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience. Financial industry experience is preferred 5+ years of experience as an Integration Architect with specific knowledge of a variety of Enterprise Application Integration concepts
