IMP: - This is NOT an entry level position. - Must be very experienced and skilled with operating Informatica in a production environment. - Must be willing to be flexible with work hours. - Some late night/early morning support is required. Description: - Performs administration of Informatica ETL environments. - Works with the US datawarehouse ETL developers to implement ETL solutions. - Will be part of a team responsible for building out and maintaining the data warehouses/datamarts. - Must be profiicient at running Informatica Enterprise Edition and PowerExchange, writing/maintaining Unix Shell Scripts. - Troubeshoot Production ETL job issues. - Document software and operational procedures. - Work independently with little direct supervision in the administration of ETL. - Provide detailed analysis of problems and recommends solutions. - Excellent analytical skills. - Must be completely self-sufficient with Informatica enterprise edition, and have an understanding of dimensional database design. (Kimball methodology). - Must be a very clear and effective communicator. SKILL MATRIX: - Prior experience running Informatica Enterprise Edition and PowerExchange (Client needs 6+ years of experience) - Prior experience with operating Informatica in a production environment (Client needs 6+ years of experience) - Strong understanding (and prior use) of dimensional database design.
