*​Responsibilities*
- Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect
counts, test results and test status Collect and analyzes data for software
process evaluation and improvements, and integrates them into business
processes to address the business needs Document all problems and assists
in their resolution Delivers quality process training to technical staff
and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business
or technical partners Performs quality audits across the various IT
functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are
being followed.
- Daily Task
- Facilitate/Coordinate Quality Artifact Review meetings
Monitor/Track QA deliverables and mentor Create Traceability
Matrix Impact
Requirements and/or Test Cases to Quality Center as required Review Test
Plans for content Monitor Honda Staff Review Test Cases for appropriate
content Help to facilitate Defect (bug scrub) meetings Manage
escalation to
resolve conflicts and enforce decisions
- MUSTS
- 5+ years experience in software Development, Software Testing &
Software
- Quality Assurance
- 3-5 years minimum leading Software Testing Teams Experience with
both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies Hands on experience
writing Test Cases Hands on experience interpreting User
Requirements into
Test Scenarios Familiar with industry best practices as it pertains to
Software Quality Assurance (SEI/CMMI, IEEE, ITIL) Hands on experience
creating Software Quality Assurance Including Test Plans, Traceability
Matrix, Test Scenarios, Test Cases Experience measuring the progress of
Software Testing activities via appropriate Testing metrics Hands on
experience with industry standard Quality Tracking and Defect management
tools (experience with HP Quality Center is a plus)
- Experiences with software testing across the development lifecycle
including Unit, Integration, System, UAT, Regression, Performance. Load,
Security Experience with defect tracking tools such as Redmine, Bugzila,
ClearQuest or Quality Center Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Quality Assurance certifications preferred Excellent
communication skills,
good attention to detail, understanding and familiarity with the software
development process
