Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. *Responsibilities:* · Work collaboratively with the Information Technology (IT) Project Manager to monitor and manage the Integrated Customer Data Analytics (ICDA) project. · Proven experience in business analysis and business requirements gathering with an emphasis on project management. · Act as the SoCalGas business requirements coordinator and provide input for the planning, development, and implementation of an integrated data store that will enhance the company’s ability to analyze customer behavioral data, trends and preferences. · Must have polished teamwork and communication skills to effectively coordinate with business clients from various departments, IT team members and vendors to define requirements, assess alternatives, and present viable solutions to business challenges. · Individuals should have an enterprise perspective on designing solutions and problem solving, and be able to integrate multiple work processes and functional work streams into recommended solutions. · Provide leadership with business colleagues to ensure successful implementation of technology projects. · Coordinate with IT to deliver all required documentation for lifecycle product development methodologies, which include effective requirements gathering, project estimating and risk and dependency management. · Assist in managing project scope and objectives, and help to define or modify configuration requirements to solve business problems. · Provide focus/direction on reports design so business users feel more empowered to self-serve. · Develop business relationships with all Customer Operations, Operations Research, Customer Solutions and other identified stakeholder departments to ensure successful implementation and support for their needs and requirements. · Provide weekly status to upper management including current accomplishments, planned work, current issues, risks and mitigation action plans. · Incorporate data strategy and governance into deliverables, systems, and processes. · Create strategies, implementation plans and capital business cases to address future current and future business intelligence needs of the enterprise. · Work with a team of solution architects to develop an enterprise-wide, business-linked, cohesive understanding of data assets and their relationships in terms of data integration from application to repository. · Assist in the design and gain buy-in from business stakeholders on ICDA data governance processes. · Proactively manage change management and training on new ICDA systems and processes. · Responsible for assuring that all business partners are trained and supported before rollout of system. · Assist in the business user adoption of business intelligence self-service reporting objectives. · Support other high priority projects. *IT Project Mgmt:* · Responsible for managing multiple teams that develop, implement, and maintain software components or application systems which enable the automation of business processes. · Prepares business case. Creates and executes project work plans. · Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities. · Enforces project standards, minimizes exposure and risk on projects, and ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. · Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis. · Manages project budget. · Reviews and monitors charges to the project and follows up on discrepancies.
