This individual’s tool bag will consist of trouble shooting skills and innovative technical thinking. • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent • 6+ years’ experience in database administration with Primary skills of Oracle /Sybase/DB2 • Experience with UNIX/Linux • Experience with disaster recovery, installation of software, creating databases • Experience with database migration [mainly migration of any Database like Sybase, DB2 to Oracle database] • Experience with high availability solutions (RAC, HADR, Replication / Simulated replication) • Knowledge on Golden Gate would be given preference • Knowledge of Big Data and Hadoop is added advantage • Knowledge /some experience in DB2 is added advanage • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate technical issues and solutions • Good analytical and problem solving skills Thanks & Regards *Shilpa * IT Recruiter.
