We have an below urgent requirement from our client.
*Title: *Front-End Web Developer
*Location: Central WI*
*Duration: *12+ months
Looking for Senior Front-End Web Developers to join their team for a 1-year
contract. As a Front-End Web Developer will be an integral part to replace
10 different systems on their external Web presence. This is a
database-driven site, custom Content Management System, developing browser
displays, and building / manipulating pages in an Agile environment
7+ years of experience specializing browser displays. Strong jQuery, expert
level JavaScript, and JSTL. Background in web tier development as in Java
Server Pages or MVC frameworks. Experience with action classes for the
Struts2 framework & SiteMesh decorators. Experience with Java, JSP and
dynamic content server pages must be able to design server pages. Experience
with non-table based layouts and generating mock-ups on the fly for
browsers. Experience with cross-browser functionality.
Other position..
Participates in the detailed identification and development of program and
system specifications.
o Provides input on cost analyses, systems and program design, testing, and
maintenance and documentation of new and existing systems.
o Responds to systems problems by analyzing the problem, formulating a
solution, and changing or repairing the system to avoid costly interruption
of services to users.
o Performs other job-related duties requiring the same general knowledge,
skills and degree of responsibility commensurate with assigned level.
Qualifications
o Bachelors Degree or equivalent education
o 4 or more years of related programming experience
o Proven experience in designing and developing enterprise class Java / JEE
web applications
o Experience with RIA technologies - AJAX & jQuery.
o Experience with mobile presentation & programming for cross browser
compatibility.
o Experience in JEE technologies: JSP, Servlets, EJBs, JDBC, JPA & JPQL,
JTA, JMS, XML, etc.
o Experience with the Struts2 MVC framework & Sitemesh decorators.
o Experience with JBoss application server, Hibernate, and working knowledge
of Eclipse / WTP & ANT.
o Experience with OOAD design principles and modeling tools.
o Experience with SOA technologies.
o Database experience with SQL Server and DB2; SQL and stored procedures.
o System integration experience and mainframe interoperability is highly
desired.
o Insurance industry experience is a plus
