Location : Sterling Heights, MI
Duration : 2-3 months contract*

*Experience Requirements:
Basic (Required)
BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of
education and recent, relevant work experience
Minimum 5 years software development experience including 3 years of Java
programming experience
Strong familiarity with design patterns such as the MVC architecture model
Thorough understanding of and experience in object oriented design and
programming
Working knowledge of Java/J2EE, web services and development of service
oriented applications
Familiarity with wide portfolio of software development
applications,environments and languages, such as Linux, Servlets JSP,
Python, etc.
Experience using source code control systems, such as CVS or Subversion
Experience developing on application servers such as Apache Tomcat, BEA
Weblogic, or Websphere
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Creative problem solving skills and ability to effectively communicate and
translate feedback, needs and solutions
Must have strong teamwork orientation and the ability to foster
collaboration within and across teams
Must be sensitive to cultural differences in interactions and in the way
work is done
Needs strong sense of ownership of end result*

Experience with Test Driven Development and associated tools like Maven
Experience in Scrum team environments
Experience with Spring MVC or similar (Struts, Seam, etc.)
Experience with Hibernate or similar ORM persistence framework
Experience with Oracle RDBMS
Experience in Unix/Linux shell, Python and JavaScript scripting
Experience developing for Web 2.0/3.0
Knowledge of Java Portlet development
Experience working with library-specific technology such as MochaUI,
MooTools and/or FreeMarker*
