New Position: Sr IT Project Manager for T&O Operations Remittance Program
Job Purpose/ Description:
To handle / ensure the overall coordination, status reporting and stability
of project oriented work efforts; establish and implement project management
processes and methodologies to help ensure that projects are delivered on
time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and meet customer
expectations; responsible for assembling project plans and team assignments,
directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource
needs, performing quality review, and escalating functional, quality and
timeline issues appropriately; responsible for tracking key project
milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources; coordinate
communication with all areas of the enterprise that impact the scope,
budget, risk and resources of the work being managed; follow rigorous SDLC
(IT only) and project management best practices; comply with internal
Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other compliance related processes, as well as
adhere to change control and problem management procedures.
Manages and/or mentors project management staff.
May develop and implement new proposals on cutting-edge process improvements
and technology initiatives.
Required education/experience:
Minimum 7 - 10 years Lead Project Management experience preferred
PMP, Six Sigma or other project management certifications
OmniPlus experience preferred
Experience using Clarity/Open Workbench preferred
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science,
Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field
Viewed as thought leader regarding project management methodology and tools,
as well as resource management practices and change management techniques
Excellent understanding of IT and its alignment with business processes
Excellent understanding of SDLC
Excellent human resource management skills
