*Role:: ITMP Architect* *Location:: **Bloomington, IL* *Duration:: 12+ months* *Job Description::* Analyst selected would become a member of the Tech Team in the ITMP Architecture & Enablement function in Workforce & Department Services. Primary responsibilities would be to assist efforts in the Business of Systems (BoS) space with Application Architecture, Data Architecture, and Technical Architecture. An application development background is desired. Primary duties are in the Application Architecture space. - Conduct High level analysis and layered design to determine what functionalities will be partitioned into different services for building and supporting solutions. - Define the interaction between application packages, databases, and middleware systems in terms of functional coverage. - Create sets of artifacts to support design decisions including Architecture Decision Documents as needed. *Desired skills include:* - Experienced Web Analyst with design experience and/or application architecture skills - Ability to discuss design options with teams to determine best option - Ability speak with business and technical groups to understand requirements and translate to architecture design - Understand enterprise direction regarding architecture and translate to the business problem to be solved - Ability to navigate the organization - Ability to work in a team environment and communicate A background in distributed systems application development is required. Additionally some experience with data architecture and technical architecture direction setting would be a plus.
