*Role:SAP Data Modeler (Jr.)* *Location is Holland, MI* *Duration: 6+ Months..* *Need candidate with Production planning experience* *BASIC FUNCTION* Basic understanding of *production planning & execution and SAP system.* Understand legacy systems for extracting some data for engineering BOM. Develops engineering BOM information for service parts. Effectively troubleshoots all information problems while auditing a configured BOM under guidance of team lead. *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS* 1. Extract production related master data from legacy system using Haworth tools/techniques in xls sheet. 2. Maintain data in xls for Engineering BOM based on defined rules. 3. Creates and maintains product models as needed and in format required. 4. Create SAP master data under guidance of team lead. 7. Reviews product rules and translates these into SAP. 5. Tests generic models for completeness, accuracy, and repeatability. 6. Determines root cause of problems related to item, Bill of Material (BOM). 7. Record audit results during BOM configuration testing. 8. BOM of Services parts setup for Haworth products based on legacy data (AMAPS). 12. Communicates effectively with team lead for timely and accurate completion of models/projects. 14. Utilizes personal computer (PC) and keyboard/mouse while performing functions of position. 15. Good in Microsoft xls and data extraction/transformation. *EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE* Associates or technical school degree in technology/engineering field or equivalent. Three years of experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP ERP) systems primarily in master data extraction/transformation. *SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE* Ability to navigate within and extract BOM and Item information from Customer Order Management Sales Tracking and Reporting (COMSTAR) and Advanced Manufacturing Accounting Production System (AMAPS) software systems. Creative approach to problem solving and development. Manufacturing product knowledge Ability to use independent judgment to solve problems.
