*Position*: * Infrastructure Project Manager (1)* *Location*: Chicago. IL ** *Length*: 5-6 month w/option for additional time *Start Date*: ASAP *Rate: * OPEN * * *PREFER LOCAL RESOURCE* *Overview*: This ideal PM would have previous experience managing the build out of *Data Centers. *The Project Manager’s role is internally focused toward managing the critical activities associated with the datacenter build out. The organization is highly complex, requiring the manager to be a good communicator and issue manager. * * *Requirements:* 1. Must have 3-5+ yrs managing *Data Center *infrastructure engagements including: *a. **CO-LOCATION BUILDOUTS and Managed Services Environments are a MUST*** b. Extensive Infrastructure Project Management experience c. Experience managing projects in a managed services environment d. Providing recommendations for alternate datacenter implementation alternatives e. Financial Markets industry expertise 2. Must have competency with the following capabilities: a. Project Planning & Integration Management b. Issue Management * c. Risk Management d. Strong oral and written communications skills e. Quality Management * f. Resource Management * 3. Must have significant exp Managing & executing cost-effective decisions regarding *Networking and Operations.* 4. Manage project deliverables including project risks, issues, contingencies, communications, project schedules, project financials and change management plans. Verify adherence and performance to standard plans and procedures. 5. Must have significant exp facilitating meetings and providing clients with regular reports, identifying and managing issues that may impact the delivery of the build-out 6. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization. 7. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator 8. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project 9.
