Client is lowering the skill set to a more Jr. level person. He needs more whitebox/white code experience, if they can get into code to test the API and can do QA for a little while, that is ok. Still need the strong C++ experience. Lowering requirement to 1-2 years. Assignment Title: SQE Engineer Building Code/Site: SC4 Desired Start Date: 9/8/2009 Estimated Length of Assignment: 6 months How many CWs do you need: 2 Estimated hours per week: 40 Please indicate % of travel required: 0% Years of Experience Expertise Level: JR Project Description: Project Offset: Providing Out of Box user experiance for LRB. Daily Responsibilities: Software Engineer responsible for test planning, development and execution for assigned product components and/or sub-systems. Testing is focused at the White Box level through test automation when possible. Scope of testing includes functional, boundary conditions, performance, code coverage analysis, race conditions and memory leaks. In addition the SQE Engineer is responsible for verifying documentation, adherence to coding standards and ProtexIP verification. Necessary Skills (Must Have): 5 + years of software testing experience 3+ years of experience in API testing Strong knowledge of C/C++, PERL, Shell, Java, MySQL Should be able to read/write C++/Java Code Experience in code coverage tools developing back end test automation frameworks Ability to drive technical and automation solution for complex projects ( Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have): Must be able to work independently and manage time and the time of the team to maximize the amount of test coverage on each title. . Knowledge of current QA policies and procedures preferred. . Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Able to work overtime as needed.
