Length: Contract to hire Rate: 50/hr and perm Must-haves: 7-10 years of experience with Java Development Expertise in Server Side Javascript development 3-5 years of experience in a Lead Developer role Spring and Hibernate experience Experience with Restful Webservices Agile Development Experience (There is a Scrum Master, but this person must be able to introduce, implement and deliver using Agile) Excellent Communication skills (will be interfacing with customers) Plusses: Oracle Database Design Experience Cloud Computing Exposure (this is something that our client is looking to implement in the future) Role: This position is open to replace a current team lead that is moving to a new role within the organization. The Lead developer will be responsible for 80% leadership (meetings with business users, developers, analysts, mentorship etc.) and 20% development in Javascript. The team has approximately 10 people (split on/off shore). Our client is currently rolling out a complete rewrite of an existing external web application that is scheduled to go live in late July/early August. After this project, they will be working on 2-3 other projects that are waiting in the queue that also include updates, patches, reworking of existing web apps.
