We have a Direct Client Requirement for you and the details are as follows *Job Title: - Linux Admin with **Puppet* *Location: - Philadelphia, PA* *Duration: - 6 Months* *Type of hire: - CTH* Please look for a candidate who has extensive experience on *Puppet* *Role : Linux Admin* *Required skills:* · 5+ years of systems engineering, with a bias towards Unix/Linux environments o Experience with in Puppet, Spacewalk, mCollective, Capistrano administration o Experience with supporting large scale environments is a major plus o In-depth understanding of virtualization technologies i.e., VMware, ESXi o Experience with a variety of hardware platforms (HP Blades, Cisco UCS, DL360, DL560, etc) o Advanced knowledge of scripting and/or development background (Ruby, bash, Python, Perl, etc.) and GNU tools o Significant application support background, e.g. Unix and Web middleware development and/or QA highly desirable o Build and rebuild of various operating environments is a major plus o Ability to work with offshore teams, including 24 x 7 NOCs o Knowledge of core technology services (DNS, NTP, etc) o Familiarity with SAN technologies and converged networking o Experience with 3rd party platform as a service providers/service offerings is a plus o Familiarity with Nagios, OP5, Splunk, or Dynatrace a plus o Excellent troubleshooting skills o Solid communications skills – written and oral Best Regards, *Purushotham* Sr. Technical Recruiter | Oberon IT Inc 1404 W.
