*Length: 12 month contract initially, 22 month project overall* *Interview: Technical Skype Screening & Technical Skype Final – Will interview right away and start as early as Monday!* Essential Functions: - Responsible for ideation/visualization, application architecture, and development of mobile applications for the Android and iOS platforms (phone and tablet). - Build scalable application & frameworks for iOS and Android platforms. - Thrive on taking ownership and doing whatever it takes to deliver results. - Work closely with development team, onsite and occasionally, offshore. Essential Requirements: - 8-10 years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years developing for mobile technologies. - Extensive experience with proficiency in Java, Objective-C, Swift programing languages. - Solid experience in application development using source control tools and strategies for using source control such as trunks, branches, merges, tagging, release management methods, etc. - Proven experience in interfacing with APIs and web services. - Proven collaboration skills and the ability to work in efficient, small teams. - Candidate should have solid communication and presentation skills with the ability to fill in as a technical evangelist when needed. - An eye for design details and user experience. - Extensive experience with technical architecture, design and requirements documentation. - Ability to architect and write reusable library for development teams. - Communicate with Project Leads on the status of current projects. - Must have experience working on multiple initiatives with a high degree of flexibility. - Communicate with project managers/leads to determine timeline, budget and resource allocation required by the projects in-line with the overall strategy. - Participate in ideation/visualization sessions for original application ideas. - Extensive experience with Agile/Scrum environment.
