Location: Troy, MI Duration : 6 plus Months SOFTWARE ENGINEER - CRM Developer GENERAL DESCRIPTION/SUMMARY This position will include application configuration and customization. Assisting in analyzing and adapting business processes, business requirements, functional specifications, reporting requirements, defining and conducting system tests, and system validation. The position will also be involved in serving as a liaison between the business units and Information Technology by ensuring that business processes and requirements are understood. The position will also be involved in major projects including new module installations and PeopleSoft upgrades. Supervision Received: General direction provided by Director/Manager. Project Manager/Project Lead may provide specific direction pertaining to projects. KEY RESULTS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following (other duties may be assigned) 3+ years functional experience with the PeopleSoft CRM suite (Sales and Order Capture desired, Support and Marketing a plus). Experience developing PeopleSoft Components/Pages. Experience developing PeopleSoft messaging to third party systems. Experience with PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal 8.8 (Portal Registries and Branding) is a plus. Experience with FSM integration is a plus. Experience with HTML and style sheets is a plus. Basic understanding of PeopleSoft Security and Integration Must have used standard IT methodologies, performed business analysis and documentation Experience with PeopleSoft version 8x (Version 8.8 desired) Extensive hands-on customization experience required. Identify gaps between business requirements and the PeopleSoft Application. Propose solutions and approach to closing gaps via process re-design or system functionality EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related discipline required. EXPERIENCE Minimum of three years of experience with: PEOPLESOFT CRM 8.4 / 8.8 Sales and Order Capture Oracle Relational databases, SQL and object oriented programming techniques. Oracle PL/SQL programming techniques. SKILLS NECESSARY TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Languages: Preferred: PEOPLETOOLS, APP ENGINE, INTEGRATION BROKER.
