Duration : 6+ Months *Job Description :* v Ensures proper design, implementation, performance, availability, security, auditing and capacity management of related database systems v Create and manage ongoing monitoring and audits to ensure data integrity, redundancy and failover. Lead disaster recovery planning and incident response for all distributed database assets v Extensive database administration experience on Oracle and SQL Server, recent hands-on in DB2 will be helpful v Creation and maintenance of database objects (tables, columns, indexes, etc) v *Create, manage, support and upgrade Oracle Database 11g,10g, 9i Golden gate, Data Guard.* v *Performing database administration functions and supporting Oracle 10g and 11g RAC in a 24x7 production environment* v *Setup and support database utilities including BACKUP, RESTORE, REORG, RUNSTATS, EXPORT, LOAD, EXPLAIN* v Experience with data replication, middleware, integration and ETL tools v *Oracle 9, 10G and 11G Database Administration and Management on HPUX and Linux environments.* v Monitoring and troubleshooting skills in databases, operating systems. v Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling design concepts v *Ability to write moderately complex shell scripts (using ksh, perl, php, etc) for database maintenance automation and testing* v Ability to make decisions and demonstrate problem solving skills, analysis, prioritization and risk taking; Proactively raise and resolve issues v Ability to work within a team environment and communicate effectively with others; be able to clearly explain complex technical issues to business analysts and end users v Effectively represent the database team in application development projects Thanks & Regards, *Raghavendra Gaddam*, Agile Enterprise Solutions Inc Phone: 630-242-8896 EXT: 317 !!
