Duration: 6+ Months *Primary Skills :* * Network Engineer - Data Center, OSI Model, TCP/IP protocol suite (IP, ARP, ICMP,), CISCO ASA 5550, 5580-version 8.3, IPSEC protocol suite, SSL based VPNs AAA.,Nexus Series switches-7k, 5k, 2k,* Essential Skills: v Strong understanding of networking principles, v Strong understanding of network security principles, v Good understanding of system integration concepts v Effective written and verbal communication skills v Demonstrated technical experience with the following v Cisco Networking Devices, including ACL management v Routing protocols v Good understanding of *OSI Model, TCP/IP protocol suite (IP, ARP, ICMP,)* *Network Security, VPN, Firewall, * *IPSEC protocol suite,* *SSL based VPNs AAA. * *Monitoring tools understanding --Solarwinds , PRTG* *CISCO ACS 5.x* *Nexus Series switches-7k, 5k, 2k* *CISCO ASA 5550, 5580-version 8.3* 1. Client interaction on routine basis to understand the project on going requirement. 2. Participate in reviews of requirements and implement the required tools to enhance the overall network setup & performance 3. Discuss requirements and design review with the client 4. Review the SPOF (Single point of failure) at current network setup. 5. Design and implement networking setup for new remote sites 6. Design and implementation of new routers, switches & WAN links etc 7. Implementing the management tools to fine tune the network 8. Monitor and manage and troubleshoot networking backbone (MPLS) and networking equipment 9. Monitor, manage and troubleshoot LAN and WAN links 10. Co-ordination with the vendor like AT&T, Sprint, Verizon etc for WAN link support 11. Implementing the monitoring tools to monitor the networking hardware and the applications 12. Management of customer Wireless setup. 13. Though understanding of LAN switching and routing protocols i.e OSPF, BGP. 14. Hands on experience on Cisco 4000 series switches. 15. Overview of Cisco unified communication 16. Hands on Cisco 2800 series routers. 17. VOIP Basic understanding.
