Deliver an integrated information management strategy including the consensus future state and recommended notional path forward. Our client has generated significant value by implementing integrated information management process and tools. Examples have included implementation of SAP across all businesses, implementation of eSales in and improved technical service tools for. These projects have provided the framework for standardized processes that has lead to improved data consistency and availability, reduced people costs and improved integration and synthesis of financial, procurement, sales, supply, and manufacturing data. Even with these improvements, additional opportunities still remain for creating value for our client in Downstream through further integration to its information management processes and tools. Downstream still has multiple siloed systems for information storage, retrieval and analysis/synthesis. These systems include SAP, PQR, Maximo, eSales, AspenTech Process Historian, MBCTS, Asset Utilization Tracking and various ad hoc Excel-based systems (e.g. CAPEX tracking) current technologies and best practices offer opportunity improvement (e.g. SharePoint, SAP Netweaver, integration tools/AspenTech). The growing scale and complexity as well as possible synergies within Downstream, increases the need for standardized, and efficient information management processes and tools. Continued improvements in computing technology and information management tools now allow for the application of relatively low cost and proven “off-the-shelf” solutions. An Enterprise Information Analysis will lead a cross-functional team to analyze specific areas of CRI/Criterion's enterprise information management. Map between current processes, methods and tools. Define future business needs and opportunities Assess gaps between current state and future needs/opportunities Identify best practices to close the gaps The deliverable will be an integrated information management strategy including the consensus future state and recommended notional path forward. Specific information areas to be included in the scope of the analysis include: Quality Management Customer Relationship Management Investment Management Maintenance Management Material Movement Management Production & Process Analysis The team will prioritize this list and modify it as appropriate. Deliverable The final deliverable will be a document that defines the following for each specific area determined by the project team: Current business process, information flows and tools Future business needs and opportunities Gaps between current and future state Identification of best practices to close gaps. This deliverable will help determine the business value in implementing future projects to close indentified gaps. Future projects may include implementing best practices or IT tools that support the defined future business needs and opportunities.
