*Locals to NJ/NY only please with financial experience.*** * * *Telephonic interview followed by Face-face* * * *Our client, a top financial client is seeking a** Sr Quality Assurance Analyst* * * *Location: New York* *Position: Contract* *Rate: DOE* * * *Job Description* *Main Function * Candidate will be responsible for the accurate testing of a Service Oriented Architecture that specializes in Financial Data Processing systems. Specifically, the candidate must be an expert in Automation Scripting and Back End testing *Main Duties * · Create test plans · Create test strategy documents · Develop test cases based on business requirements, functional and technical specifications, and development standards for assigned projects/applications. · Build SQL queries to validate data · Build automation scripts to validate SOA Services · Maintain existing test plans and test cases based on code changes and enhancements to assigned applications · Improve upon available documentation (requirements, test cases, test scenarios) · Perform Regression Test planning and execution · Track issues and work with project managers and developers to resolve. · Create and send issue reports to project team and management during test cycles. · Contribute in the development of knowledge transfer documentation · Provide status to management *Person Requirements * · BA/BS Required (Computer Science degree a plus) · 4-6 years QA/IT experience in the financial industry with basic understanding of portfolio management, investment management and daily data processing (holdings, trades, income, journals) · QA/QC certification a plus (from PMI, QAI, IIST or other organization) · Candidate must be very strong in SQL, · Experience in building automation test scripts for the SOA services, extensive knowledge of QTP or something equivalent · Strong background in Unix. · Industry experience required, either from a Wealth Management or Brokerage background or ideally both *Thanks & Regards,* *Gopal* * MetaSense, Inc.* *NJ Minority Certified Company* 100 Technology Way, Suite 320 Mt.
