Position : SQL Developer/Analyst Location: Yardley.PA Duration: 2-3+ Months Contract Max Rate :- $45/hr Please send only local consultants or near by state Responsibilities Advise and assist departmental users in defining client metrics, reporting, presentations that help clients and employer to meet business objectives. Create and maintain related documentation, and queries related to reporting and metrics. Serve as technical liaison between the company and the client vendor in defining, designing, and implementing data transfers, and reporting. Coordinate routine and ad hoc projects as assigned and prioritized by senior management. Act as a front-line technology conduit between employer and pharmaceutical client – coordinating data feeds and reporting. Design and generate ad hoc reporting for clients and employer based on business specifications and objectives. Design and produce reporting, metrics, and analytics that reflect objectives and business needs for routine generation to employer / clients. Technical skills Minimum 5 years application development experience in a windows based environment. Minimum 5 years professional experience designing and developing RDBMS based applications Must have demonstrated expertise in SQL Server 2005 and 2008, SSIS (SQL Server Integrations Services) Experience in TSQL, creating/modifying complex stored procedures, functions, indexing, and triggers Experience working with dashboard platforms (ie. Cognos, ClickView, Dundas, etc.) Experience working with combining disparate data sources in a reporting environment. Experience with SSIS design and development within a formal IT framework. Experience with report design and development within a formal IT framework Strong application development and object oriented design and development skills. Strong experience in design and development of applications using Microsoft technologies such as Visual Basic, and ASP. Demonstrates ability to provide guidance and apply experience to refine specifications when needed. Demonstrates ability to work in a flexible manner with changing specifications. Business skills/Qualifications Minimum 3 years experience working with internal business units to gather technical project requirements. Minimum 3 years experience working with internal business units to support and train personnel in application usage. Experience working with external clients in an outsourcing business environment desirable. Ability to prioritize work with minimal supervision. Strong organizational, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills is essential. Pharma experience a plus.
