Position: Clarity Reports Writer
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Duration: 12+ Months
Bill Rate: $50-53/Hr
Complete Description:
Skills: Exceptional report writing skills for Actuate 8 iServer that includes
detailed knowledge of the Clarity 8.1 database schema. Must be able to design
and implement hierarchical and multi-dimensional reports and portlets. Should
have very strong SQL skills (Oracle SQL) and be able to produce concise,
efficient query statements and logical data models. Should also be familiar
with J2EE web environments including JDBC; web application development;
scripting tools and languages; web development tools. Exceptional technical,
logical, analytical and problem solving skills with demonstrated ability within
an SDLC methodology including application design; use case analysis and design;
and application testing. Excellent planning, organizational, interpersonal and
verbal and written communications skills. Ability to work as part of a project
team. At least 4 years experience in developing and supporting application
systems with 2 years specifically focused on Clarity report development. Ideal
candidate will also have experience with Business Objects Crystal Reports and
custom universes.
Behavior Characteristics:
Technical report developer. Provide technical application support for Clarity
system. Design and implement custom reports, online portlets and system
enhancements. Provide 'on call' support to keep application running in
accordance to service agreements.
