Develops a framework for implementing DataStage ETL jobs incorporating best practices in a standardized format c.. Develop DataStage jobs using above framework for various data loading and extracting projects d.. Develops LINUX shell scripts to run above processes e.. Works with operations department to schedule above jobs using AutoSys f.. Train team members in use of DataStage and best practices Requirements: a.. Minimum of 7 years hands on experience developing jobs in DataStage (or predecessor products) b.. Minimum of 6 months experience in version 8.0 of DataStage c.. Proven experience in specifying best practices for DataStage job development d.. Minimum of 3 DataStage frameworks developed using best practice specifications e.. Several jobs developed using afore mentioned frameworks f.. Proven experience in training developers in use of DataStage g.. Proven ability to mentor in a team-oriented environment. h.. Experience working in Linux environments i.. Experience developing shell scripts for running DataStage jobs j.. Experience with Oracle 10g database environments k.. Experience with AS/400 and DB2 environments a plus l.. Experience with AutoSys a plus m.. Superior interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to be both directive and collaborative n..
