Position: Messaging Engineer Lead
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Des Moines, IA or Minneapolis, MN or San Francisco, CA
Rate: $40/hr
The Enterprise Messaging and Collaboration Team is seeking a contract resource
to be the Technical Lead for the first phase of a project to re-architect the
Messaging Monitoring environment. The individual selected will analyze the
existing Monitoring environment, identify gaps, and propose a solution. This is
a 6 month contract starting February 1. The selected engineer can be located in
Des Moines, Minneapolis, or San Francisco. PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT an
Administrator or Developer position.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years experience managing highly complex technical projects
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux Server hardware and software
5+ years experience working in enterprise messaging environments
Extensive knowledge of Exchange, Blackberry, and other messaging
applications
5+ years experience working in a large corporate environment (150K+
users)
Extensive knowledge of MOM, SCOM, and other Monitoring applications
Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
Extensive experience creating process documentation
Ability to work with Virtual teams
Preferred Skills
Experience with large email migrations (Exchange/Outlook)
Experience with both HP and Dell hardware
