As part of the development lifecycle: Work with Application Development team to create test plans and scripts to test application. Determine test data requirements and how to create this data. Use available tools to capture performance related metrics. Execute tests and perform analysis of captured metrics. Summarize results for technical and business resources to understand projected production impact.
