Role: Network Engineer/ DBA Location: Columbus, OH Length: 6months Rate: $45/hr c2c All Inclusive on C2C *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * - The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the support and maintainance of applications within the MCC BSA (including CRE, Library and other Marketing applications, Associate Portal etc) - The Systems Engineer will be responsible for daily maintenance and support of multiple applications in the Marketing Communications and Collaboration Business Solution Area within Enterprise Applications - This includes database administration, process management, technical documentation, vendor interaction etc. - Serves as an expert in hardware/software systems engineering - Undertakes the most complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge - Makes well-thought-out decisions on the most complex or ambiguous hardware/software systems engineering issues - Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency - Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements the most complex hardware/software components, tools, and utilities - Makes the most complex modifications to existing hardware/software to fit specialized needs and configurations - Establishes and communicates common goal and direction for team - Acts as a source of direction, training and guidance for less experienced staff through formal and informal mentoring - Monitors project schedules and costs. *REQUIRED SKILLS: * - 5 to 7 years of solid experience in databases administration - Excellent understanding of hardware, networking and infrastructure such as DNS, Networking Subnets, VLAN, LUN, SAN Storage, NAS, FTP etc. - Web domain knowledge and experience (i.e., understand how a web application works, what is a three-tiered architecture) - Good knowledge of application, network and system security - Good understanding of general policies and procedures pertaining to a corporate IT environment; Infrastructure and process (ITIL) knowledge would be a huge advantage - Programming language (JEE, .Net, etc) knowledge would be a plus - Knowledge of SaaS (Software as a Service) model preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Saurabh Ph - 412-499-3197 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "REQSRESUMES" group.
