*Job title: Network / Systems Administrator Location: Franklin, WI Duration: 6+ Months Contract Description: The composition of the environment is Juniper and Cisco. Client uses a Junosoperating system, use Juno space as interface and Juniper for firewall. Cisco is used for core routing and switching. They have Aerohive wireless in place and use a wireshark package. Use a dual vendor strategy utilizing both Juniper and Cisco. However, they are moving to Juniper in a year so it would be much more beneficial to have a Juniper background. Aerohive is a rare skill set so any wireless experience will be a plus. Responsibilities: Accountable for software and hardware upgrades of network equipment, capacity planning, security administration and problem and incident resolution for network infrastructure supporting top tier applications. Qualifications: Experience configuring and deploying network switches, routers and appliances including adding VLANs and routing protocols Ability to work with Capacity Planning and vendors on equipment procurement, returns and inventory. Strong understanding and experience troubleshooting tools such as protocol analyzers and bandwidth utilization reports.
