Install, configure, and support an organization’s Windows servers, SQL Server, Red Hat Linux servers, and local area network (LAN). Responsible for installing, monitoring, and maintaining a network of Windows and SQL Server systems to ensure network availability to all system users. Typically has an Associates degree or equivalent training with previous experience in computer networking. The technical skills include the ability to maintain network hardware and software and troubleshoot problems. Guaranteed week off during the holidays! ** Build and maintain Windows and SQL Server infrastructure in support of a mission-critical application ** Direct managed service provider to perform data backups and disaster recovery operations ** Direct managed service provider to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary ** Review and approve the planning and implementation of network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware ** Create the design, configuration and testing plans of computer hardware, networking software and operating system software ** Monitor network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and counsel organization on where changes will need to be made in the future REQUIRED ** Associates degree in computer related field required.
