Title: Oracle Apps Financial Consultant

Location: Boston, MA

Length: 6 Months+



*Skillset and expertise required using the following: Oracle Financials
including General Ledger (GL), Cash Management (CM), Fixed Assets, Payables
(AP), iExpense, and Accounts Receivable (AR) modules, and experience with
170 Systems/Markview or similar imaging and scanning solutions, Work Flow,
and Approvals Management (AME) in R11.5.10.*


Description :

*They do not need R12 knowledge. R11 is what they will be working with. The
primary focus will be the General Ledger and Interfaces into and out of it.*

*Must have the ability to travel freely through Europe if necessary.*



The Financials Analyst required for this position will need to have
requirements, testing, and implementation experience in the banking
industry.

*Skillset and expertise required using the following: Oracle Financials
including General Ledger (GL), Cash Management (CM), Fixed Assets, Payables
(AP), iExpense, and Accounts Receivable (AR) modules, and experience with
170 Systems/Markview or similar imaging and scanning solutions, Work Flow,
and Approvals Management (AME) in R11.5.10.*

Responsibilities will include obtaining, delivering, and implementing
requirements and functions for these Oracle Applications. The resource will
work closely with Finance and Technology departments on various Oracle
projects and will represent the functional needs of Finance.



SSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND TASKS:

• Collaborate with project team and serve as a liaison between Finance and
the IT department to research, analyze, and validate business solutions and
ensure the most appropriate and effective solutions are implemented to
support the business objective.

• Comprehend technical and non-technical solutions that satisfy the
strategic direction and requirements of the business, and that conform to
the technical architecture, and optimize value to the business.

• Provide efficient and effective user support and application setup of the
Oracle Financials according to business requirements.

• Assist with the definition, creation, and documentation of all business
requirements.

• Work with the team to support process/system improvement opportunities as
well as assisting with and driving change across the organization.

• Serve as a functional expert on Oracle eBusiness Suite implementations

. • Demonstrate integrity and excellence in interaction and delivery of end
product with the various business partners

. • Financial Background preferred; must have experience in most if not all
modules –GL, AP, AR, FA, GL, CE, and iExpense. MarkView experience a plus.



QUALIFICATIONS:

• Well-versed on Oracle terminology and methodologies, able to be flexible
to support other functional areas in addition to Oracle applications

. • Understanding of SQL and SQL*Loader, and TOAD tools a plus. •
Experience with Oracle Discoverer, standard reporting modules, and using
Oracle’s BI tools.

• Awareness of Oracle development, documentation and interface processes,
security, best practices, workflow, forms, and reports. • Experience
working with business process owners and end-users to establish sufficient
levels of detailed requirements as well as creating test plans and training
documents.

• Ability to represent the functional aspect and the business needs and
articulate to other team members. • Customer service minded. • Ability to
multi-task and efficiently prioritize. • Strong written and verbal
communication skills with the ability to communicate and interact across
multiple levels of the team across timezones/countries – IT, Finance,
Trainers, and end users • Ability to comprehend and analyze complex issues
and pay attention to details. • Detail oriented with strong analytical and
thinking skills. • Proven flexibility and adaptability in changing
priorities.

• Basic Financial concepts in order to understand the business processes
within the applications •
