The candidate selected for this position will work closely with existing Technical leads, and PL/SQL developers on system design, coding, system testing, and transformations based on the data models developed for the new systems. Should have experience with tuning high-volume applications for performance and instrumentation of code for tuning and monitoring Periodically be on-call to support Production application Essential Functions: Serving as a lead PL/SQL developer, this person will work closely with existing Technical leads, ETL developers, and BI developers on tasks involving system design, data cleansing, transformation and aggregation based on the data models developed for the new systems Support architecture efforts by following and adhering to the standards set forth by the Information Architecture group and maintain the integrity of application architecture Maintain data integration, data distribution and correct issues as they arise Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer of SQL skills to existing staff Work with Business Analysts to understand the business requirements Provide technical work estimates and task breakdown Participate in peer code reviews and provide support to QA/Prod during the test/migration process Education: BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience Experience: Experience with relational database design and database management systems (Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2 UDB etc.); Knowledge and experience with TOAD and PL/SQL programming.
