*Oracle PL/SQL Developer *
*Contract Length- 6 month contract*
*Interview Process- Phone interview then Skype*
*Location: Denver, CO *
*We are looking for a Senior Oracle Developer who has a deep background in
application development with previous experience and knowledge of MS SQL
Server and conversions to Oracle. The contract position will be a 6 month
assignment with opportunities for extension based on performance and
project need.*
*Experience:*
• 5-7 years Oracle database experience including database design, upgrades
and performance tuning.
• 3 years MSSQL database experience including database design, upgrades and
performance tuning.
• Experience in developing SaaS based product offerings with large scale
multi-tenant database architecture.
• Experience in developing java based SOA applications.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle based application design principles,
practices, systems development and analysis.
• Experience designing complex Oracle database schemas.
• Writing complex queries that perform efficiently against very large
amounts of data.
• Solid understanding of Oracle indexing options and use of views.
• Experience modeling and implementing abstract data concepts in Oracle.
• Experience developing and designing with ORM (hibernate) and data access
layers.
• Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle;
familiarity to scrum or Agile is desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills that non-technical end
users can understand.
• Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and
practices.
• Experience with large scale application migrations from MS SQL Server to
Oracle a plus.
