Junior SOA Solutions Architect-C#/.Net Location San Antonio, TX Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6-9 months Must Have Skills: * Excellent written and spoken communication skills * Ability to concisely illustrate concepts in words and diagrams * Understanding of SOA Design patterns and concepts * Strong understanding of REST concepts - experience a strong plus * Strong understanding of scalability concerns and design techniques * Flexibility in designing systems - including new ideas such as NoSQL Databases * 7 + years of programming/SW development experience with 3+ years of .NET/C# development * 2+ years of architectural experience required. Programming Languages * .Net: C# (required), ASP.Net and VB.Net desired * SQL Stored Procedures and Queries (SQL Server required, others are plusses) * Experience writing and debugging batch files including PowerShell and Bash/Sh. * Knowledge of Javascript and best practices including AJAX Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Contract Design Requirements * Strong knowledge of XML required including designing XML Schema in XSD (without tools) and Atom/AtomPub * Knowledge of WADL structure and design * Knowledge of JSON representations Technology Requirements * Experience selecting and using Message Queues: ActiveMQ, ZeroMQ, RabbitMQ * Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux (esp. RHEL and Ubuntu) * Experience with Datagrid and NoSQL Databases and solutions such as Infinispan, Riak, Redis, a plus * Experience with Complex Event Processing (CEP) systems such as Nesper a plus * Experience with Streaminsight a plus Administration and Development Environment Skills * Good troubleshooting skills * Basic server administration skills * Experience with Git (Github a plus) version control systems * Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Hudson/Jenkins and CruiseControl * Experience with Continuous Deployment a plus * Experience with Build and Deploy systems (Puppet or Chef are plusses) Technical Project Lead Skills * Ability to plan, coordinate, specify and ensure quality of remotely developed software * Experience with Agile Development Methodologies and Practices (including SCRUM) * Worked in an Onsite-Off Shore model * Excellent communication skills to gather and report program effective project status and metrics * Experience working Scrum based project models * Experience with Version One Tool * Self Starter, Dedicated, Committed, Willingness and attitude to learn -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "REQSRESUMES" group.
