*Position Title* – Data Architect *Location* – Harrisburg, PA (Face to Face Interview) *Duration* – 6 Months *Pay Rate* – $55/hour (All Inclusive on C2C) *Description* The Data Architect will provide assistance with data sharing and information exchanges, both within the client as well as across multiple government agencies. The Data Architect will provide assistance with data sharing and information exchanges, both within the client as well as across multiple government agencies. The Data Architect will work closely with the Project Manager and the Lead Data Architect to design and construct schemas, IEPDs and mapping documents, as well as test, troubleshoot, deploy and maintain web services interfaces. Develop data models for information exchange across the agencies and ensure adherence to sound security and data management principles. Develop NIEM Information Exchange Packet Documents (IEPD) for seamless data exchange. Interact daily with business analysts and project teams. Define and maintain logical enterprise data model at various levels. Communicate and educate stake holders on the use of sound data management principles and NIEM. *Mandatory Skills/Experience:* --A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Data Architect including at least 2 years developing IEPDs in NIEM or XML. --Knowledge of XML Technologies --Excellent oral and written communication skills --In depth knowledge of data sharing standards (XML reference documents) --Must employ outstanding collaborative skills --Effective multi-tasking skills --Must be able to take strategic direction from project manager and agency management --Must be display initiative, and be able to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance. --Must consent to Pennsylvania State Police background check *Desired Skills/Experience:* --Familiarity with law enforcement information technology standards and practices desired --Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering or related field.
