ITC Micro Systems is seeking a Windows systems administrator to join the current staff of 12 responsibilities will include: managing and implementing Windows servers, applications, and open source projects at its University of Virginia location in Charlottesville. The candidate should have a bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of experience with Windows Server operating systems, and familiarity with IIS. Experience with Powershell, SQL Server and/or VMWare is desirable. The candidate should have experience with server class hardware, and should be familiar with standard RAID configurations. Working hours are typically 8 to 5, Monday through Friday. However, planned work can sometimes occur prior to or after hours. Some flexibility is required. The candidate will not be on call, but would be expected to assist if needed and available. This is expected to be a 12 month assignment with possible extension.
