JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The manager needs this person to interview this week and ideally start next week. Job Summary A critical member of the engineering team, responsible for taking a leadership role in the design, creation and maintenance of 100% Uptime guaranteed Web Applications (including UI), Services, SOAP/REST APIs and Database systems. A User Interface Designer/Developer with a strong passion for producing quality software and web/user interfaces. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and bring fresh ideas to brainstorming sessions. They will work with the team to deliver powerful new user experiences that give users confidence to conduct their work and complete their goals. They will use an arsenal of engineering and visual design skills to prototype solutions and iterate on them based on usability tests and user feedback. The candidate will be forward-thinking and up on all the latest innovations, and they will be a critical link between design and development because they will communicate in the creative world as well as the technical world. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and document new service functionality (SaaS) • Develop high performance object-oriented Ruby on Rails, C#, Javascript, and Linux code • Contribute to the design and implement a new RoR Web User Interface • Implement database schema and associated queries • Implement Web Services using existing SOAP and/or RESTful APIs Required Skills/Competencies • 2-3 or more years professional experience writing RoR • 4+ years Javascript and CSS code ( C#, C++, and/or other Object Oriented Languages highly desired) • Experience with the software development life cycle (agile planning, grooming, documentation, and rapid Sprint-based development) desired. • Advanced knowledge of HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, DOM, DCOM, and XML • Experience developing in a Windows environment • Experience with web based client server applications • Competency with JQuery • Familiarity with GEMS/GEM Management, JSON, SAVON • SQL Server experience a plus Education/Experience • 5+ years of working in production-level 100% uptime web applications and large scale databases • Business and System use case, and/or Agile Stories and Epics generation • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience) Kindly Send profile with below information MUST.
